Environmental Health and Toxicology
A very important topic on the health aspect of the living beings, which is getting affected by the chemicals in food, household materials, and pollution etc. The common man is not going to find out the details until the special efforts are made to disclose this information. Through these discussions, we make an effort of teaching our students how to spread the word among the peers and their families to become more aware of the toxic effects. The chemicals are classified as carcinogens (cancer-causing), allergens (allergy causing), neurotoxins (affect the brain), mutagens (DNA mutations or negative changes), and endocrine disruptors (hormone imbalances).
